Account Cards and Item Cards include a field called Filtering. The Filtering incorporates 5 characters in the Account Card (letters and numbers) and 10 characters in the Item Card. This field allows you to group non-consecutive cards from different groups when issuing reports. Each character may be either a letter or number. Each character may specify a particular characteristic of the Account Card. For example: The first character can indicate the number of the salesperson managing the customer’s account, the second character can indicate the customer’s region (N = North, C = Center, S = South, E = Eilat). Item characteristics may be specified in a similar fashion.
This page is used to specify the characteristic represented by each character. This information does not appear in reports, but serves only as a reminder when entering data or issuing reports.
